We were back at ITV studios last week modeling Spring Fashion 'Getting ready for Wedding Season' with Mark Heyes, click here for link. The dress chosen by Mark for Katherine to wear was a fabulous Oasis V&A Print 'Bardot Style' off the shoulder mid length dress which we absolutely loved for its soft floral print and hint of feminine glamour! Jane's navy and white vertical stripe wide leg trousers looked flattering and very 'St Tropez' chic with minimal accessories! Mark knows us (and our figures) so well now and it's always a pleasure to be styled by him!
If you have a wedding or special occasion coming up, keep an eye on the blog as we've got two weddings and a few events coming up over the next few months and we'll be out and about scouring the shops for more inspiration and we'll be sure to share any top finds!
It does seem like we could be getting ahead of ourselves with all the beautiful Spring Styles coming into stores considering we had snow yesterday and more forecast, it's definitely not the time to pack away your boots and scarves just yet but the sunshine will come and we will be ready!
We had mentioned we were going to share some great beauty tips for this time of year but to be honest, we've decided to postpone another week waiting for this weather to turn. What we can say in the meantime for this 'changeable' weather is make sure you keep your face protected. With the sun coming out in the morning and then icy cold winds hitting us in the afternoons, it's imperative to wear something on your skin. Even if you're not wearing make up everyday make sure you have a moisture barrier or BB cream to shield your skin. However, we are advocates of putting make up on if you're out and about every day, even if it's just the bare basics, you'll be protecting your skin and feel prepared for the day ...and you never know who you might bump into!
Talking of looking after your skin, don't forget your hands. If you're feeling like your hands need a little TLC, one of our 'Top Tips' that will cost you nothing is an oil and sugar exfoliate. Just simply place a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of sugar in your palm and gently massage all over your hands. The sugar acts as a gentle exfoliator and the oil softens the skin. Wash and rinse the hands afterwards (using a mild soap) and then pat dry and 'Voila' ...baby soft buffed hands! You could also try this on your feet although the obvious hazards of having any oil residue on your soles is definitely worth bearing in mind so be careful :)
Can't believe May is already upon us, we have a feeling it's going to be a great month, wishing everybody a very fabulously fun Bank Holiday weekend and we'll be back soon with more tips and style inspiration!
